Records every elevation gain
Created for mountain bikers! The BC 14.0 WR model is your ideal companion for mountain adventures, especially where it gets really steep. SIGMA ORIGINAL indicates the altitude you are at and the current gradient. The analysis function in the wired bike computer allows you to familiarize yourself with information about the elevation gain you have made and the maximum altitude achieved during training. The BC 14.0 WR also records information about the total elevation gain you have made during all your bike trips.
Stable data transmission
Thanks to the direct wired connection of the speedometer to the transmitter, the speed measurement proceeds without any interruptions. A battery for radio transmission is unnecessary in the case of the BC 14.0 WR model, and your bike computer works for years without the need for battery replacement.
Usage with 2 bikes
If you regularly ride different bikes, you can easily mount the BC 14.0 WR on your second bike. After a one-time setup, you can select the currently used bike on your bike computer. An additional mount and a second transmitter are needed for mounting on the second bike. You can find them in the SIGMA online store or at your local bike shop.
Easy tire size selection
Configuring the BC 14.0 WR is child’s play thanks to the pre-defined tire sizes, ranging from children's bikes to size 29''. There is also the option to enter the tire circumference with millimeter accuracy.
Statistics of your trip
You finish the trip, but your BC 14.0 WR bike computer still has a lot of work ahead. It has a statistics function for the last twelve months. You can read data such as: total distance, riding time, and elevation gain. Such a “training log” allows you to compare activities from each month.
Large display
The sporty design makes the BC 14.0 WR model look great on your bike. The display has been enlarged to dimensions of 31× 41 mm compared to its predecessor. This allows large digits to fit on it, which are easy to read while riding. The current speed is constantly displayed on the BC 14.0 WR, and you can individually select the second value. When it gets dark, the display backlight function will help you.
Intuitive operation
The configuration and operation of the bike computer is intuitive with the help of three buttons. With the two lower buttons, you can conveniently scroll through the individual functions. The menu button will take you to settings and monthly statistics. A practical solution: thanks to the integrated start/stop function, your SIGMA ORIGINAL computer starts measuring automatically when you start your ride, while the measurement is paused when you take a break or the route has come to an end.
Wired installation
The BC 14.0 WR computer mount can be quickly installed using two zip ties on the handlebars or its stem. The speed transmitter is also mounted in the same way. The computer receives all necessary data via the wire. You can always remove the bike computer, conveniently store it, and just as quickly reattach it to the bike for your next adventure in the mountains!
Order and excellent visibility:
Overclamp Butler mount
You can also attach the BC 14.0 WR to your bike using the SIGMA Overclamp Butler mount, which is available as an accessory. The mount provides space, order, and optimal visibility of your device. The BC 14.0 WR model can be secured against theft with a screw. The mount fits handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 mm and 35 mm.
Long Butler mount for a sporty sitting position on the bike
With the Long Butler mount, you can install the BC 14.0 WL in front of the handlebars, which is an advantage when riding in a sporty position. The mount can be installed in a few simple steps on handlebars with a diameter of 25.4 mm and 31.8 mm. The computer can be secured against theft with a screw. The Long Butler mount is available in physical and online stores as an additional accessory.
Multi-day trips - no problem
The BC 14.0 WR model accurately measures how long you ride and what distance you cover. This way, you can conveniently measure riding time and distance during multi-day bike vacations.
Service function, reminding you of bike maintenance
A bike requires regular service checks. Regular maintenance reveals issues with brakes, chains, or tires. Thanks to the service interval, the BC 14.0 WR reminds you to perform a bike check after 750 kilometers. The service interval is therefore an important function for your safety. The information about the recommended service will appear five times after turning on the device.
Economical in use
In the BC 14.0 WR computer, one button cell battery (CR 2450) lasts for over two years of use, without the need for recharging. Replacing the battery is very simple and does not cause loss of your data. The built-in memory chip saves all total values and settings.
