The TLR-1 HL Long Gun Kit tactical flashlight generates a beam of light with a power of 1,000 lumens, allowing for maximum illumination of searched rooms or alleys. The wide beam of light allows for the illumination of large areas and the identification of people or objects present there. The flashlight's design guarantees direct mounting to long guns with rails that meet the MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) standard. The rail mount does not require the use of tools and does not place hands in front of the muzzle
