The Uni-T UT12M is a professional, non-contact alternating voltage (AC) detector that has been designed for electricians, installers and individual users who value safety and convenience of work. The device allows for fast and precise detection of voltage in wires and electrical sockets, as well as offers a magnetic field detection function, thanks to which it allows you to check the correct operation of coils, relays or solenoid valves
The tester operates in two ranges –low voltage (24–1000 V AC) and high voltage (90–1000 V AC) mode, making it a versatile tool for both basic household work and professional industrial applications. The presence of voltage is indicated by both an LED and an acoustic signal, the frequency of which increases as the device approaches the live wire. An additional convenience is the built-in LED flashlight, which allows you to work in dark rooms or hard-to-reach corners of the installation.
The UT12M is made of robust materials and the housing meets the IP67 standard, which provides full protection against dust and water. The tester is also resistant to drops from a height of up to 2 meters, which increases its durability during intensive use. To save power, the device automatically turns off after a period of inactivity, and an additional indicator informs you when the battery is low. It is powered by two AAA batteries, which are included in the set.
