UNI-T UT22B-EU Voltage Tester is a simple and reliable voltage indicator designed for everyday use by both electricians and home users. It allows for quick measurement of direct and alternating voltage (AC/DC) in the range of 6 V to 400 V without the need for an additional power source.
The device is powered directly from the tested circuit, which means it is always ready for use and does not require battery replacement. Measurement results are presented using a clear LED indicator, which informs the user of the voltage range present in the tested circuit.
The tester automatically recognizes the type of voltage. In the case of direct voltage DC, a diode indicating the positive (+) or negative (-) pole lights up, while during the measurement of alternating voltage AC, both indicators light up simultaneously. This makes the identification of the type of voltage quick and intuitive.
Model UT22B-EU is also equipped with a function for indicating dangerous voltage. When the voltage exceeds 50 V, the appropriate LED indicates the presence of potentially dangerous voltage. Additionally, at voltages exceeding 400 V, the indicator flashes at a frequency of over 1.5 Hz, increasing user safety.
Robust construction meets the requirements of protection class IP54, providing resistance to dust and splashes of water. The tester is also resistant to drops from a height of up to 2 meters, making it suitable for use in demanding conditions.
The device is designed to operate with alternating voltages of 50/60 Hz. The internal impedance of the tester is 17 kΩ for voltages below 50 V AC, and the maximum duration of a single measurement can be up to 600 seconds.
The tester meets the requirements of standards EN61326-1:2013, EN61326-2-2:2013, and EN61243-3:2014. The safety category CAT III 400 V allows for the safe use of the device during typical electrical installation work. The entire unit is enclosed in a compact housing with dimensions of 116 × 33 × 22 mm and a weight of approximately 150 g.
