How to use Poxilina:
- A very important stage of repairs using Poxilina is the proper preparation of the surface - it should be thoroughly cleaned and smoothed with sandpaper to remove rust residues and loose fragments.
- Next, we recommend cleaning the surface with an alcohol or turpentine-based agent to remove grease or polishing residues.
- Then: cut, knead, and apply!
- After applying the product, wait at least an hour before subjecting the bond to pressure or loads.
- After completing the repair with Poxilina, wait an hour before turning on the water valve. The bond reaches its maximum resistance after 24 hours.
- The leftover Poxilina that was not mixed can be tightly wrapped and stored for later use.
- Poxilina withstands temperatures up to 80°C without changing its properties.
- WARNING: Poxilina is not intended for repairing gas pipes.
Recommendations and precautions
- When preparing the pipe for repair, do not forget to turn off the valve and properly dry the surface.
- Before applying Poxilina, we recommend smoothing the surface with sandpaper and cleaning it with alcohol or turpentine to remove grease, rust, and sanding residues for 10 minutes.
- If you want to seal a hole in the pipe, the effect will be better when Poxilina gets inside the opening.
- After completing the repair, wash your hands with plenty of soap and water.
- Once dry, Poxilina can be painted with various types of paint, and it can also be drilled, polished, and sawed.
Warnings
- Poxilina cannot be used for applications on the surface of human and/or animal bodies, nor is it intended for contact with food.
- Prolonged contact of the product with skin may cause irritation; we recommend using it with gloves.
- If you work without gloves, remember to wash your hands immediately with plenty of soap and water.
- Contains epoxy resin and tertiary amines.
- Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
