Petzl Myo - a flashlight for the demanding

Petzl E87AHB C is the next incarnation of headlamps from the Myo series. Like its predecessor, the Myo RXP, it has an electronic circuit that stabilizes light output and is programmable. It allows the user to individually adjust the light output to the situation and needs by selecting 3 constant operating modes from 9 brightness levels with electronic stabilization (from 20 to 170 lumens) and a maximum mode of 280 lumens without electronic regulation. There is also a momentary Boost mode - 370 lumens and the option to choose one of 3 flashing modes, including SOS.


Myo is a flashlight perfectly suited for all intense outdoor activities thanks to the weight distribution on the head (battery container at the back). The movable diffuser filter allows for a quick change from a focused long-range beam to diffuse lighting useful for reading maps or setting up a tent.

The flashlight can be programmed according to the activity and expected usage time. The maximum brightness mode will be ideal for short night runs, for example. The lowest brightness will extend battery life, making it suitable for multi-day treks. The flashlight has a Boost mode that temporarily increases the light to 370 lumens and a pulsing mode (also programmable - three modes to choose from).

Nyo E87AHB C is compatible with lithium batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Petzl claims a 50% extended runtime on rechargeable batteries and 100% for lithium batteries compared to alkaline batteries.
