Included with 4 XTAR R6 2500mAh 1.5V Li-ion batteries:

The XTAR battery in AA / R6 size is the perfect combination of the best features of alkaline batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
Compared to other XTAR Li-ion 1.5V batteries, this model is equipped with a discharge warning.
The built-in converter specifically lowers the voltage to 1.1V when the battery is close to discharging, allowing us to replace the batteries in time.
Major advantages:
- higher nominal voltage - 1.5V (Ni-MH only has 1.2V)
Some devices, such as blood pressure monitors, unfortunately work much shorter on Ni-MH batteries due to the lower voltage. On alkaline batteries, however, they work much longer. - constant voltage throughout the entire time
The voltage on this battery will be 1.5V from start to finish. This way, for example, in flashlights, we can enjoy full brightness all the time. - high cycle count - over 1200!
Xtar used high-quality cells along with a protection system, which allowed for a high number of charge/discharge cycles with minimal battery degradation effect.
Batteries are also available separately - HERE.
Xtar is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality chargers for Li-ion batteries, flashlights, and Li-ion batteries. Xtar products are sold in over 120 countries, including the USA, Germany, Japan, and Russia. For the production of Xtar chargers, only the highest quality materials are used - from the casing material to efficient electronics. All Xtar chargers have the CE certification required in European markets.
The Xtar L4 charger features an advanced processor that can distinguish the type of battery installed in it. This allows us to charge any Li-ion 1.5V or Ni-Mh battery in any charger slot. The refined charging algorithm ensures that the battery is always charged to full and in an optimal, safe manner for the specific cell chemistry.

What is the TC/CC/CV charging method? It is a three-stage charging process for Li-ion cells that ensures the cell remains in good condition by charging with the appropriate current at each stage and ending the charging process at the right moment.
The individual stages of the TC/CC/CV process are:
- TC Phase: cells are 'woken up' with a lower current.
- CC Phase: the cell is charged with a constant current of 0.5A.
- CV Phase: when the cell is almost charged, the charger switches to charging with a decreasing current until reaching a voltage of 1.5V on the cell.
The charger Xtar L4 has a reactivation function for deeply discharged cells and cells with a voltage of 0V. Many chargers on the market cannot charge such batteries. Here, the Xtar L4 charger comes to the rescue, which in many cases allows for the 'rescue' of such cells. Just insert the deeply discharged battery into the L4 charger, just like with normal charging - the charger will detect the discharged cell and attempt to reactivate it.
Note! Cells discharged below a certain level can suffer irreversible damage, and their reactivation may be impossible. Avoid excessively deep discharging of Li-ion and Ni-MH batteries - this can lead to significant reduction in their lifespan and capacity or render them completely inoperable.

Like every Xtar charger, the L4 model is protected in every possible way. The most important protections it has are:
- short-circuit
- thermal
- against overcharging
- overcurrent
- against reverse polarity
- detection of primary cells
