The carbon monoxide detector K7DCO is equipped with a Kidde electrochemical sensor, guaranteeing a 10-year operational period. Battery power allows for the installation of the detector in an optimal location within the room and also provides protection in case of a power outage.
The built-in LCD display shows the level of carbon monoxide concentration ranging from 0 to 999 PPM. CO concentration measurements are taken every second. Exceeding the permissible CO level is signaled optically (red LED) and acoustically (loud, pulsating alarm sound at 85dB). The device's memory records information about the detection of CO levels exceeding 100 PPM.
Thanks to this, the user can ensure that there was no carbon monoxide emission during their absence from the room.
The detector has a test/reset button that allows checking the device's operation and resetting the alarm signal, as well as a button that, when pressed, displays the highest detected CO level recorded in the sensor's memory. The sensor also has a function that informs about alarm activation in the last 14 days. Thanks to this, the user can ensure that there was no carbon monoxide emission during their absence from the room.

The efficiency control system continuously monitors, among other things: the sensor, internal circuits, and battery status. In case of improper operation or low battery charge, a yellow LED indicator blinks, appropriate graphic information is displayed on the LCD panel, and a warning sound signal is activated. Additionally, the sensor is equipped with a simulation test function that allows for a quick check of the sensor's correct response to the CO test gas.
Thanks to its special shock-resistant design, the detector has been approved for use not only in homes and apartments but also in caravans, campers, and boats. After 10 years from the activation of power, the sensor will remind you of the need to replace the device.
K7DCO is marked with the construction mark B confirming compliance with the Polish standard PN-EN 50291-1:2018+AC 2021 for domestic carbon monoxide detectors. The tests were conducted by the Scientific Research Center for Fire Protection, the Józef Tuliszkowski National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB), and it has a BSI certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the standard BS EN 50291-1:2018 issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Additionally, the K7DCO sensor has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements BS EN 50291-2:2019 (PN-EN 50291-2:2020) allowing the device to be used in caravans and boats. Compliance with the above-mentioned standard has been confirmed by an independent testing unit of the British Standards Institution.
