The series of sine wave voltage converters is designed to power electrical devices requiring 230V AC from batteries and automotive systems with a constant voltage of 24V. The distinguishing feature of sine converters from classic simple AC/DC converters is the generation of sinusoidal AC voltage at the output, identical to that in the power grid. Simple, cheap converters actually generate a rectangular voltage, sometimes mistakenly called "modified sine wave."
