Kidde 2030-DSR3 battery smoke detector

The Kidde optical smoke detector 2030-DSR3, powered by a replaceable 9V alkaline battery, is designed for long-lasting and reliable protection of household members. It is equipped with a patented Kidde optical sensor with a 10-year lifespan, which ensures effective smoke detection. After this period, the detector will remind you to replace the device with a new one.

It features a TEST / RESET button to check the detector's functionality, as well as a HUSH™ function that allows you to silence an accidentally triggered alarm, for example, while cooking or frying. This makes the detector suitable for installation near kitchens or bathrooms.

Battery power allows for quick and easy installation of the detector in the optimal location within the room and ensures continuous protection even in the event of a power outage. Thanks to the use of a long-lasting replaceable alkaline battery, the device can operate for at least 36 months on a single battery under normal usage conditions. The detector is also equipped with a lock that prevents installation without a properly installed battery and a security feature that makes it difficult for children or unauthorized persons to dismantle the device.

Additional features such as alarm memory, multifunctional LED indicator, and an 85 dB sound signal at a distance of 3 m facilitate monitoring the device's operation and allow for a quick response in case of detected threats. The detector also automatically reminds you to replace the device after the 10-year lifespan has expired.

The Kidde 2030-DSR3 has a certificate confirming compliance with the requirements of the PN-EN 14604:2006+AC:2009 (EN 14604:2005+AC:2008) standard for domestic smoke detectors. Compliance with the aforementioned standard has been confirmed by the independent testing organization TÜV Rheinland.
