The XTAR battery in AA / R6 size is the perfect combination of the best features of alkaline batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
These include:
- higher nominal voltage - 1.5V (Ni-MH only has 1.2V)
Some devices, such as blood pressure monitors, unfortunately work much shorter on Ni-MH batteries due to the lower voltage. On alkaline batteries, however, they work much longer. - constant voltage throughout the entire time
The voltage on this battery will be 1.5V from the very beginning to the end. Thanks to this, for example, in flashlights, we will be able to enjoy full brightness all the time. - large number of cycles - over 1000!
Xtar used high-quality cells along with a protective system, which allowed for a large number of charge / discharge cycles with minimal battery degradation effect.
