Non-contact voltage tester Uni-T UT12D - A device that allows you to safely detect voltage. Such indicators are commonly used in work related to the repair or maintenance of wires, sockets, and other electrical and electronic devices. The meter allows for the detection of alternating voltage in the range of from 24 V to 1000 V. The tester can detect voltage in wires running behind plaster. This is a very useful feature during renovation work when we need to drill a hole in a wall where such wires may be located. Voltage detection is indicated by a built-in buzzer and flashing LED lights.
Key product features
The meter can operate in two modes. The first is the low voltage mode used for measurements of devices such as: low voltage motors (below 90 V), audio systems, arc welders, mining lighting, and wires with thick insulation. The second is the high voltage mode, which is used for measurements of, among others, three-phase systems (from 90 V to 1000 V), electrical panels, power distribution units, or electrical devices operating at high voltage. The device is powered by two AAA batteries and is equipped with an automatic power-off function. An additional advantage of the UT12D is the flashlight that allows for easy measurements in areas with poor lighting conditions. Thanks to its durable housing, the device is resistant to damage that may occur from falls from a height of about 1 meter.
