The series of sine wave inverters is used to power electrical devices requiring an alternating voltage of 230V from batteries and automotive installations with a constant voltage of 12V. It works perfectly in places where there is no possibility of direct connection to the power grid. It can also be successfully used as an emergency power source for devices requiring continuous power, such as heating stoves and central heating pumps.
The distinguishing feature of sine inverters from classic simple AC/DC converters is the generation of an alternating voltage with a sinusoidal waveform at the output, identical to that in the power grid. This allows powering devices equipped with electric motors and transformers, such as power tools, pumps, and small household appliances. Simple, cheap inverters actually generate a rectangular voltage, sometimes mistakenly called "modified sine wave." Such voltage is unsuitable for powering inductive or capacitive devices and may cause damage to them.
