The Unitek Y-3046A hub gives you four USB 3.1 ports. With them, you can connect essential peripheral devices to your computer, such as a mouse, keyboard, webcam, or additional external hard drive. This model has a built-in cable of 30 cm in length, making it particularly useful for laptops, which often lack ports.
Simple and Convenient
The hub is equipped with Hot swap/Plug & play technology, meaning it does not require the installation of any drivers. You simply connect it to your computer and start working. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 9, and 10, computers with Linux, and Mac 9.0 and newer. The super-fast USB 3.1 connection transfers data at speeds of up to 5 Gbps, and of course, it is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1.
USB Hub for Phone
The hub comes with an OTG adapter (microUSB adapter), which allows you to connect the hub to a smartphone or tablet. After connecting a keyboard and mouse, the device is more convenient to use during work (e.g., editing long texts), but there is nothing stopping you from connecting a gamepad to the phone and using it as a portable gaming console. The hub is powered directly via the USB connector – no additional cables are needed.
