HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT

Before using POXIPOL glue, the surface should be cleaned, dried, and free of grease and rust. It is recommended to wipe very smooth or shiny surfaces with sandpaper.
POXIPOL dries in 10 minutes, but reaches maximum strength after 24 hours.
Before the glued surface hardens, it can be smoothed with a spatula or knife previously dipped in water.
Do not mix up the caps when closing the POXIPOL tubes.
After finishing, wash your hands with soap and warm water.
To facilitate mixing the components of POXIPOL glue, the package includes a SELF-CLEANING MIXING TRAY (this is a tray made of special material that glue does not stick to. Before use, detach the applicator from it. Remove any dried glue residues to reuse the tray).
To increase the adhesion of POXIPOL for 10 minutes to stainless steel, brass, or another smooth surface, we recommend wiping it with sandpaper before gluing.
To ensure proper adhesion of POXIPOL to plastic, we suggest the following procedure:
- Clean the glued surfaces with a cloth soaked in acetone or alcohol. First, ensure on an inconspicuous area that the solvent does not damage the plastic.
- Gently wipe the surface with abrasive cloth or water sandpaper with a grit of 180 or less.
- Rinse again with solvent.
The resistance of POXIPOL glue to impacts and shocks can be increased in the following way:
- Mix the components of POXIPOL Metallic 10 min. in equal proportions.
- To each component separately, add cut steel wool fibers (found in pot and dish scrubbers), mix until a plastic, not too thick mass is obtained.
- Mix both components containing fibers until you achieve a homogeneous, easy-to-apply mixture. When POXIPOL completely hardens, it will be more resistant to impacts and shocks due to the fibers.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

POXIPOL shows the greatest strength at room temperature.
POXIPOL withstands temperatures up to 120°C depending on the application.
Once dried, POXIPOL can be sanded, sawed, and drilled using commonly available tools.
The mixture of POXIPOL components in equal proportions (in a 1:1 volume ratio) provides the greatest strength of the glue. It is not recommended to change the mixing proportions.
POXIPOL is not flammable.
POXIPOL is not resistant to direct fire exposure.
POXIPOL metallic and transparent glue bonds equally strong and solidly. Both glues are suitable for bonding elements subjected to very high stresses.
POXIPOL transparent is intended for applications where aesthetic appearance is important.
To remove the product from the skin, we recommend wiping it with a gentle abrasive material, such as pumice stone. Then apply a protective cream to soothe irritation.

WARNING

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. May cause irritation.
In case of contact with skin, immediately wash with plenty of warm soapy water.
If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Contains epoxy resin and tertiary amine.
Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
After using POXIPOL glue, wash your hands with soap and warm water.
