Records every elevation gain
Created for mountain lovers! The BC 14.0 WR model is your ideal companion for mountain trips, especially where it gets really steep. SIGMA ORIGINAL shows the altitude you are at and the current incline. The analysis function in the wired bike computer allows you to familiarize yourself with information about the elevation gain and the maximum altitude reached during training. The BC 14.0 WR also records information about the total elevation gain you have achieved during all your bike trips.
Stable data transmission
Thanks to the direct wired connection of the counter to the transmitter, the speed measurement proceeds without any interference. The battery for radio transmission is unnecessary in the case of the BC 14.0 WR model, and your bike computer works for years without the need for battery replacement.
Usage with 2 bikes
If you regularly ride different bikes, you can easily mount the BC 14.0 WR on your second bike. After a one-time setup, you can select the currently used bike on your bike computer. An additional mount and a second transmitter are needed for mounting on the second bike. You can find them in the SIGMA online store or at your local bike shop.
Easy tire size selection
The BC 14.0 WR configuration is child’s play thanks to the pre-defined tire sizes, ranging from children's bikes to size 29''. There is also the option to enter the tire circumference with millimeter accuracy.
Your trip statistics
You are finishing your trip, but your bike computer BC 14.0 WR still has a lot of work ahead. It has a statistics function for the last twelve months. You can read data such as: total distance, riding time, and elevation gain. This "training log" allows you to compare activities from each month.
Large Display
The sporty design makes the BC 14.0 WR model look great on your bike. The display has been enlarged to dimensions of 31× 41 mm compared to its predecessor. This allows for large digits that are easy to read while riding. The current speed is constantly displayed on the BC 14.0 WR, and you can individually select the second value. When it gets dark, the display backlight function will help you.
Intuitive operation
The configuration and operation of the bike computer is intuitive using three buttons. The two lower buttons allow you to conveniently scroll through the individual functions. The menu button will take you to the settings and monthly statistics. Practical solution: thanks to the integrated start/stop function, your SIGMA ORIGINAL computer starts measuring automatically when you begin your ride, while the measurement is paused when you take a break or the route has ended.
Wired Mounting
The BC 14.0 WR computer mount can be quickly installed using two zip ties on the handlebars or its bracket. The speed transmitter is also mounted in the same way. The computer receives all necessary data via the wire. You can always remove the bike computer, conveniently store it, and just as quickly reattach it to the bike for your next adventure in the mountains!
Order and perfect visibility:
Overclamp Butler mount
You can also attach the BC 14.0 WR to your bike using the SIGMA Overclamp Butler mount, which is available as an accessory. The mount provides space, order, and optimal visibility for your device. The BC 14.0 WR model can be secured against theft with a screw. The mount fits handlebars with a diameter of 31.8 mm and 35 mm.
Long Butler Mount for a sporty sitting position on a bike
With the Long Butler mount, you can install the BC 14.0 WL in front of the handlebars, which is an advantage when riding in a sporty position. The mount can be installed in a few simple steps on handlebars with a diameter of 25.4 mm and 31.8 mm. The counter can be secured against theft with a screw. The Long Butler mount is available in physical and online stores as an additional accessory.
Multi-day trips - no problem
The BC 14.0 WR model accurately measures how long you ride and what distance you cover. This way, you can conveniently measure your riding time and distance during multi-day cycling holidays.
Service function, reminding about bicycle inspection
A bicycle requires regular service inspections. Regular inspections reveal defects in brakes, chain, or tires. Thanks to the BC 14.0 WR service interval, it reminds you to conduct a bicycle inspection after 750 kilometers. The service interval is therefore an important function for your safety. Information about the recommended service will appear five times when the device is turned on.
Economical in use
In the BC 14.0 WR computer, one button cell battery (CR 2450) lasts for over two years of use without the need for recharging. Replacing the battery is very simple and does not cause any loss of your data. The built-in memory chip saves all total values and settings.
