Xtar RC1 Darkwalker V6 is a high-quality compact flashlight with an original Cree XP-L LED offering a light output of 800 lumens and a range of 235 meters. The precisely finished, perfectly fitted body of the RC1 flashlight is made of high-quality 6N03 aircraft-grade aluminum, resistant to drops from a height of 1.5m. The design is sealed in 4 places with O-rings providing an IPX8 protection rating (waterproof up to 1m). High-quality contacts and two springs ensure very good battery contact and high shock resistance.

Unlike most competing flashlights, Xtar used a high-quality OP (orange peel) reflector in its design, which generates a much smoother and more pleasant beam compared to a standard (smooth) reflector. The manufacturer also did not skimp on the glass - instead of ordinary glass, tempered glass was used.

RC1 offers four operating modes:
•800 lumens, runtime: 1.5 hours
•300 lumens, runtime: 3 hours
•60 lumens, runtime: 20 hours
•3 lumens, runtime: 30 days
Additionally, the flashlight switch allows for momentary operation.

The Darkwalker flashlight is powered by a single lithium-ion battery in size 18650 or 18700, and a protected 2200mAh Xtar battery is included. Xtar RC1 has a built-in module allowing for battery charging in the flashlight. Unlike most competing designs that use a non-standard charging socket or battery with unusual terminals, the Xtar module is equipped with a popular micro USB connector and supports standard 18650 batteries. The module is made using the same technology that Xtar uses in its chargers:
•battery charging is processor-controlled (TC/CC/CV)
•activation function for deeply discharged and '0V' cells
•protection against short circuits and reverse polarity
