The XTAR D40 ZOOM is a professional diving flashlight designed for a variety of lighting requirements when exploring the underwater world. With smooth beam angle adjustment from ultra-narrow 4° to ultra-wide 77°, it enables a seamless transition between focused spot lighting and wide diffused lighting — offering true versatility in one device.
 
Combined with the high-capacity USB-C battery, the 21700 eliminates the need for external chargers – ideal for overnight cruises or long diving trips. Combining high power, long runtime and intuitive controls, the D40 ZOOM is ideal for both recreational divers, technical divers and underwater photographers.

Adjustable light output 4°–77°

One flashlight instead of two. The D40 Zoom is the perfect replacement for a flashlight with a focused light flux as well as one with a scattered one. Thanks to it, you can illuminate both tight caves and illuminate the wider stage when recording wide. All thanks to the adjustable light focus that you have access to at hand - all you have to do is turn the adjustment at the flashlight head. 

Max. 1600 lm, 3 lighting modes

Choose from a variety of brightness levels or strobe mode for emergencies or signaling. Maximum beam range of 700 m.

• High 1600 LM:2.3 hours
  It easily copes with poor visibility conditions.
• Average 800 LM:3.7 hours
  Balance between brightness and runtime, ideal for longer dives.
• Strobe 800 LM:7.3 hrs
  To signal or deter aggressive marine organisms in emergency situations.

Don't have a charger? No problem!

A USB-C 21700 battery is included. Simply plug it into any smartphone charger or USB port on your computer – there's no need to take bulky chargers with you on diving trips.

Clear power indicator

The LED above the switch allows you to check the level of residual energy at a glance.

Charging statuses:

• Green LED (solid light) - fully charged
• Red LED (solid light) - 30min of light left
• Red LED (flashing light) - 10min of light left

Easy operation, secure locking

The switch has a clear tactile response even with thick gloves. Mechanical lock prevents accidental inclusion in the equipment bag or underwater.

New, improved temperature control technology

The built-in intelligent temperature control technology directly detects the temperature of the LED, effectively preventing overheating, while extending the life of the LED and the working time of the flashlight.
