The flashlight uses several rare (in this segment) solutions, m.in.:

• original CREE diode - has better efficiency as common clones / replacements on the market,
• high-quality housing sealed with many O-ring gaskets,
• advanced controller - the flashlight can be powered by almost any battery, AA/R6/14500 battery with a wide voltage range: 1.2-3.7V.

The flashlight has 3 modes of operation: 100%, 33%, flashing, lens generating an even stream of light and the ability to smoothly adjust the focus of the light beam. The FL-180 is powered by a single finger R6 / AA / 14500. To power the flashlight, you can use both alkaline batteries and Ni-MH and Li-ion rechargeable batteries.

The housing of the everActive FL-180 flashlight is made of durable aluminum painted in black color, thanks to the rubber O-rings it is resistant to weather conditions. A deep-seated switch located on the back of the flashlight allows it to be used as a candle (on a flat surface) in the event of a power failure. The flashlight is equipped with an additional, removable clip / slide for convenient hooking of the flashlight.
