Modern Kidde K5CO carbon monoxide sensor – long-lasting and independent protection
The K5CO model is available in an improved design version. Thanks to the optimized design, two 1.5 V AA batteries provide a minimum of 36 months of continuous operation under standard conditions. 30 days before the end of the 10-year period, the device will inform you that it needs to be replaced.
Battery-powered gives you complete installation freedom – you can place the sensor exactly where it is most effective. In addition, you can be sure of protection even during power outages.
The detection of a dangerous concentration of CO is signaled:

sound – loud, pulsed alarm with a power of 85 dB
The sensor stores information in memory when the level exceeds 100 PPM, so you can check if carbon monoxide has been emitted while you are away. The Test/Reset button allows you to check the correct operation of the device at any time and cancel the alarm.
