Durable and safe headlamp

A headlamp for professionals. Impact resistant from 2 meters and resistant to impacts and crushing with a force of 80kg. Waterproof when submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes - compliant with IP67 standard. After emerging from the water, it requires no maintenance.

The housing is resistant to the effects of most oils, greases, adhesives, hydrocarbons, solvents, and bleaches.

Reliable light source for work in low light conditions

The light of the Petzl Pixa lamps is electronically stabilized. Unlike lamps without electronic stabilization, the light intensity remains constant regardless of the battery charge state. Pixa 3 has three lighting modes: for tasks within arm's reach, for movement, and long-range light.

In the first working mode, the lamp gently and evenly illuminates the area in front of the user with a light intensity of 20 lumens, a beam angle of 41°, and a range of 15 meters without causing eye strain during prolonged work. The working time in this mode is 26 hours.

In the second working mode, for movement, the headlamp generates a mixed beam with two components: a spot (8°) and a wide (41°) illuminating the immediate surroundings of the user and objects up to 45m away with a gentle light. The light intensity in this working mode is 60 lumens and the working time is 6.5 hours.

The last mode is a spot light of 8° with an intensity of 100 lumens and a range of 90 meters, with a working time of 3.5 hours.

When the batteries are heavily discharged, the lamp will start to operate in emergency lighting mode, providing light with a range of 5 meters and an intensity of 10 lumens for a minimum of 13 hours. The emergency mode is signaled by a pulsing light - 30 minutes before it starts and at the moment it begins.

The lighting time can be extended even twice by using Ni-Mh batteries or lithium batteries.

Practical to use

The rotary switch is easily accessible, providing a comfortable grip and intuitive operation. The headlamp has an adjustable beam angle.

The Pixy head can be set in a transport position, which allows for the protection of the lens and locking the switch, preventing accidental activation of the lamp. The battery compartment cover opens wide thanks to the hinge: access to the batteries is facilitated and there is no risk of losing the cover.

The lamp can be worn on the head thanks to the elastic band or placed on the ground and set at any angle when working in tight or hard-to-reach places. The band can be easily detached for washing. A plate for mounting on Vertex and Alveo helmets is also included. It is possible to purchase a rubber band for use with other types of helmets.
