Panasonic Eneloop Charger BQ-CC55 is an upgraded version of the Panasonic Eneloop CHARGER BQ-CC16.
In the new version, several enhancements have been made including:
• LED indicator changed-the charger signals the charging progress (red: 0-20%, Yellow: 20-80%, Green: 80-99%, when the LED is fully charged, the LEDs turn off). In addition, the charger indicates a potential problem with the battery through the yellow blinking LEDS. Flashing red LED indicates charging error (improper batteries).
• The charging current has been changed and the charging process has been significantly accelerated.

The BQ-CC55 microprocessor charger is designed to charge eneloop or NiMH rechargeable batteries of type R6/AA or R03/AAA. You can charge 1, 2, 3 or 4 rechargeable batteries at the same time.

The charging progress and its termination is controlled by the Smart Charge function, which automatically checks the voltage and temperature of the batteries. The charger has four LEDs, signalling the charging process.

Battery with stable voltage level
One of the main features of Eneloop technology is the higher voltage level. Many devices turn off or indicate a low battery level if the voltage drops below 1.1 V.
