The Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC55 charger is an improved version of the Panasonic Eneloop BQ-CC16 charger.

Several improvements have been made in the new version, including:

• LED signaling has been changed - the charger signals the charging progress with LEDs (red: 0-20%, yellow: 20-80%, green: 80-99%, after full charge, the LEDs turn off). In addition, the charger signals a potential problem with the battery by yellow flashes of LEDs. A blinking red LED indicates a charging error (incorrect batteries).
