How to use Poxilin:
- A very important stage of repairs with Poxiline is the proper preparation of the surface - it should be properly cleaned and smoothed with sandpaper to remove the remains of rust and loose fragments.
- We then recommend cleaning the surface with an alcohol-based agent or turpentine to remove any grease or polishing residue.
- Then: cut off, knead and apply!
- After applying the product, wait at least an hour before putting the combination under pressure or loads.
- After performing the Poxilina repair, wait an hour before turning on the water valve. The bonding reaches its maximum resistance after 24 hours.
- The rest of the Poxiline that has not been mixed can be wrapped up thoroughly and stored away for later.
- Poxiline can withstand temperatures of up to 80 C without changing its properties.
- REMARK: Poxilina is not intended for repairs of gas pipes.
Recommendations and precautions
- When preparing the pipe for repair, don't forget to close the valve and dry the surface thoroughly.
- Before applying the Poxilina mass for 10 minutes, we recommend smoothing the surface with sandpaper and cleaning it with alcohol or turpentine to remove grease, rust and abrasion residues.
- If you want to seal a hole in the pipe, the effect will be better when Poxilina gets inside the hole.
- When the repair is complete, wash your hands with plenty of soap and water.
- After drying, Poxilina can be painted with various types of paint, and it can also be drilled, polished and sawn.
