The Xtar DS1 is a high-quality diving flashlight with a compact design with the original Cree XP-L2 LED offering 100 lumens of light and a range of up to 280 meters. The precision-finished, perfectly fitted housing of the DS1 flashlight is made of high-quality AL6063 aluminumalloy. In addition, the whole was covered with an anti-corrosion agent. The construction has been sealed with o-rings, thus ensuring water resistance up to 100m. High-quality contacts and two gold-plated springs ensure a very good battery contact and high shock resistance. Strong focused light (focused point -7°, glow 72°) and is also suitable for diving in underwater caves and grottoes. In addition, thanks to the use of high-quality tempered glass with an anti-reflective coating, we get the most efficient light source. The persuasivity of this glass is as much as 98.5%, for comparison, the standard transparency of glass ranges from 82 to 92%. For a better grip, the body of the flashlight has been equipped with 3 ribs rings - thanks to this we can be sure that the flashlight will not slip out of the hand so easily.

IN THE EVENT OF A DISCHARGED BATTERY, DS1 will notify the user by blinking three times. This is a sign that the battery level has dropped below 5%. The flashlight has also been equipped with a number of protections such as:

thermal protection - the flashlight in the event of approaching the internal temperature of the flashlight to 60 ° C, the controller will reduce the power of lighting to cool down and not exceed the critical temperature.

protection against detachable polarity - the flashlight has an intelligent system that will not damage the system in the case of a reversely placed battery.

Unlike most competing flashlights, Xtar used a magnetic slider in its design instead of a regular switch,thanks to which the DS1 has a smooth adjustment of the light force.
