Records any elevation gain
Made for highlanders! The BC 14.0 WL is your ideal companion for mountain tours, especially where things get really steep. SIGMA ORIGINAL indicates your altitude and current incline. The analysis function on the wireless cycling computer allows you to see how much elevation you have climbed and the maximum altitude you have achieved during your training. The BC 14.0 WL also records information about the total elevation gain you have climbed on all your cycling tours.
Wireless data transmission
Your data is transmitted wirelessly (WL) via the digitally encoded STS radio protocol from the speed transmitter to the bike computer. This means that the data transmission of the BC 14.0 WL is perfectly protected against external interference.
Use with 2 bicycles
If you regularly ride different bikes, you can easily mount the BC 14.0 WL on your second bike. After a single setup, you can select the bike you are currently using on your bike computer. To mount on a second bike, you need an additional mount and a second transmitter. You can find them in the SIGMA online shop or in your bike shop.
Easy tyre size selection
Setting up the BC 14.0 WL is child's play thanks to the predefined tyre sizes ranging from children's bikes to 29''. It is also possible to enter the circumference of the tire with millimeter accuracy.
Statistics of your expedition
You're done on your journey, but your BC 14.0 WL bike computer still has a lot of work to do. It has a statistics function for the last twelve months. You can read data such as: total distance, riding time and elevation gain. This "training diary" allows you to compare your activities from each month.
Large display
With its sporty design, the BC 14.0 WL looks great on your bike. The display has been enlarged to 31× 41 mm compared to its predecessor. Thanks to this, it fits large numbers that are easy to read while driving. On the BC 14.0 WL, the current speed is displayed at all times and you can select the second value individually. When it gets dark, the display backlight function will help you.
Intuitive
The configuration and operation of the bike computer is intuitive using three buttons. With the help of the two lower buttons, you can conveniently scroll through the individual functions. The menu button will take you to the settings and monthly stats. The BC 14.0 WL is versatile and easy to use!
Cable mounting
The BC 14.0 WL bracket is mounted quickly and easily on the handlebar or stem with two cable ties. The speed sensor is installed in the same way. The BC 14.0 WL receives all the necessary sensor data by radio. The bike computer can be removed at any time and conveniently stowed in your pocket. You can just as quickly mount it back on your bike and set off on your next mountain trip!
Tidiness and excellent visibility:
Overclamp Butler Handle
You can also attach the BC 14.0 WL to your bike using the SIGMA Overclamp Butler, which is available as an accessory. The holder provides space, order and optimal visibility of your device. With the Long Butler mount, you can mount the BC 14.0 WL in front of the handlebars, which is an advantage when riding in a sporty position. The mount can be mounted in a few simple steps on handlebars with a diameter of 25.4 mm and 31.8 mm. The meter can be secured against theft with a screw. The Long Butler is available in stores and online as an additional accessory.
A multi-day trip - no problem
The BC 14.0 WL measures exactly how long you ride and how far you travel. In this way, you can conveniently measure the riding time and distance during a multi-day cycling holiday.
Service function, reminding you to inspect your bike
The bike requires regular service inspections. A regular inspection reveals defects in the brakes, chain or tires. With the service interval, the BC 14.0 WL reminds you to have your bike inspected after 750 kilometres. The service interval is therefore an important function for your safety. The recommended service will appear five times after the appliance is turned on.
Economical to use
With the BC 14.0 WL, a button cell (CR 2450) lasts for more than two years without recharging. Replacing the battery is very simple and does not cause any loss of your data. The built-in memory chip saves all integer values and settings.
