How do I change the battery in my hearing aid?

When the battery is completely discharged, the device should turn off, for example giving a signal in the form of four repetitions.
A used battery should be removed from the hearing aid immediately so that it does not damage the equipment. We hand over batteries at waste battery collection points. These can be stores with household appliances, electronics or others.

1. Open the battery compartment – most often there is a protruding part of the casing that you can pull.

2. Remove the used battery. The battery can be easily removed using a small tool containing a magnet.

3. Remove the protective sticker from the new battery. If there is moisture on the battery, remove it with a cloth.

4. Wait about 1-2 minutes for the battery to aerate (more on how to handle zinc-air hearing aid batteries).

5. Place the new battery in the camera. You can use the magnetic tool again to place the battery. Pay attention to the polarities (the plus and minus signs of the battery must match the signs on the camera).

6. Close the battery door.
